SPRING BOOK DISCUSSION of FACING FEAR: The Journey to Mature Courage in Risk and Persecution

Join a book discussion led by Anna Hampton of her book, Facing Fear: The Journey to Mature Courage in Risk and Persecution (Littleton: WCP, 2023), with suggested optional reading in Facing Danger: The Guide Through Risk, 2nd Edition.

The focus of our discussion will be fear management as we learn the practical action steps to developing more effective decision-making skills in risk assessment and mitigation while cultivating shrewdness (cunning like a Palestinian viper) in Gospel advancement.

We will meet every Monday from March 18 – April 29 at 9:00 am - 10:30 am CT (Chicago).

·        March 25 – Applied Ethics and Thinking: The perception of risk

·        April 1 – Situational Awareness, Information Analysis Skills

·        April 8 – Risk Decision Making, Risk Communication

·        April 15 – Endurance and Hope in the Tragic Gap; Evacuation Planning

·        April 22 – Organizational Duty of Care and Developing System Risk Capacity

·        April 29 - Member Care in Risk
