<image:title>Theology of Risk Home - Emotionally Immature People in Risk - Holy resolve to serve Christ in the most dangerous places requires holy detachment from our ego, success, failure, criticism, and praise. Emotionally immature people are too absorbed in their ego, perceived failures, success or lack thereof, are crushed by criticism, and overly inflated by praise. When we are consumed by these things, we cannot be efficient in our focus, time, and energy to serve Him well.</image:title>

<image:title>Theology of Risk Home - Serving Caviar When They Needed Chicken Pot Pie - Instead, the veteran missionaries in the room, many of whom were dealing with complex problems like death threats, cross-cultural marriages, grief and loss, were totally missed in the heavy fire hose of theology they were drinking from. When Jesus said, "Feed my sheep," he didn't say "feed them theology because that is the fountain of truth." Jesus actually never taught theology as it is taught nowadays. He fed his disciples and all those he interacted with just what they needed. His interactions with Mary were startling different from his interaction with Martha. It was a disappointing and wasted hour.</image:title>

<image:title>Theology of Risk Home - A Response to Kirst Rievan on the Missiology of Risk - “The traditional view that risk assessment is purely empirical-logical is inadequate. Humans approach risk experientially, analytically, and politically. With the approach described below by Rievan, risk is approached from a utility and algorythmic view. However, research has demonstrated in numerous studies for the past 5 decades that humans predominantly use the affective, intuitive approach to risk analysis even when they think they are entirely logical.”</image:title>
